Brasserie Blanc Manchester |

Though it is a modern building, the Manchester Brasserie is really quite
quirky. As if the architect had rebelled against large modern rooms. The
main room is long and a little narrow, it reminds me a bit of eating in
train with windows down one side overlooking this busy city, calm above the
storm. It is a bit of a maze, with three private rooms one with a large
window with a view into the busy kitchen, vision but no sound. There is
also a large comfortable bar to relax in. One great advantage of being on
being on a pedestrian walkway is that in summer, we can put our tables
outside. |

If you like mirror covered stairways, giant lizards, huge vases and loads
of clocks then you're a very strange person indeed, but also you'll love
Odder.Odder is Odd bar's little sister, but surprisingly, quite a lot
bigger, with two bars and a love of all things weird and wonderful.
Offering an amazing food menu, free internet access, and even free
umbrellas when it's raining (or you need to scare pigeons). There are also
great deals on fantastic beers from around the world, the biggest range of
spirits on the planet, quirkily strange décor, a fab juke box and
wonderfully friendly staff. Odder has rightly won the industry's BEDA Best
Bar North & Best Bar UK Awards 2007-08 and was also nominated Best Bar AND
Best Newcomer at the Manchester Food & Drink Awards 2007 - Hooray! |

So very glad you could join us! Odd by name, Odd by nature - an
independent, free-spirited establishment residing right in the heart of the
Northern Quarter. What makes it so I hear you cry? Well, it could be the
fabulous food menu all freshly home-made accompanied by the most massive
selection of drinks from ALL over the world (beers, spirits, ales &
concoctions - you name it we’ve got it!) We also have the best
musical entertainment in the form of some of Manchester’s finest DJs
Thursday – Sunday every week as well as various ad hoc events, a
monthly acoustic night (last Sunday of every month) and a rather lovely
juke box chosen by our regulars. |
